PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 is the most coveted tournament of PUBG Mobile as the competition will be among the best teams in the world that have conquered their regional championships and are now battling for the 6 million USD prize pool. The tournament’s league stage is divided between eastern and western divison.
After the successful closure of PMGC East Day 1, the first day of PUBG Mobile Mobile Global Championship 2021 West concluded with S2G Esports claiming the top spot with 63 points in total. Following them is Black Dragon Esports with 59 points, out of which they got 29 elimination points, the highest obtained by any team so far in the west league. At the third place stands, Eastern Stars with 55 total points and 24 elimination points.

The first match of PMGC West Day 1 began at vast areas of Erangel where Black Dragon Esports manifested a spectacular performance by taking 15 finishes and 15 rank points, adding 30 points on board. At the second place stood A7 Esports who scored 19 points in total. The overall table topper, S2G were placed at the third position with 12 points.

The second match began at Miramar, the favourite map for snipers and naturally, fans got to see some speechless sniper knocks by the players. The chicken dinner at this match went to Eastern Stars due to their excellent team work while eliminating the last player of Knights. MadBulls were the third team to get eliminated with 14 points in total.
The third match of the day saw some intense action at Erangel’s School. Due to the last playzone being placed at an open area, every player required to hide their presence and eliminate others simultaneously, Furious Gaming was able to do that perfectly after claiming 13 finishes and eliminating Rise Esports. XSET were only able to take 1 finish, however, their ranking points helped them to climb at the third position of scoreboard.
The fourth match of PUBG Mobile Global Championship West Day 1 saw the comeback of S2G Esports. They claimed the chicken dinner and added 21 points to their overall scoreboard. The fifth and final match of the day was won by SuperMassive Blaze who took 13 eliminations. Following them were Next Ruya Esports.
The second day of the tournament will be crucial for teams such as A7 Esports, Ghost Gaming who need to add more points to the scoreboard in order to keep their hopes for Super Weekend alive.
