PUBG Mobile 1.9 update release date announced officially

Tencent regularly pushes out updates in PUBG Mobile after an interval of two months to add new content in the game. Today, it has announced the release date of PUBG Mobile 1.9 update which will also mark the 4^th anniversary of the game.

New updates and collaborations in the game help the players to play with a more engaging content and escape from the monotonous battle-royale surrounding of the game. The developers ensure it every time that players do not get wearied of the same content and try to add some new elements in the game.

PUBG Mobile 1.9 update release date

As the 8^th month of Royal Pass is concluding on 21^st March, fans expected the new update to come around the same time. However, much to the delight of the players, Tencent has made an announcement on the official social media handles of the game that PUBG Mobile 1.9 update will be available on 18^th March,2022. The PUBG Mobile 1.9 update will be rolled out in different phases commencing from UTC+0.

Players can download PUBG Mobile 1.9 update on both Android and Ios platforms. They need to make sure that their device has enough storage to download the update content and resources. A wi-fi connection is also recommended for downloading the update.

Expected features

Tencent has not yet announced the patch notes for the new update but the announcement has excited the players since new game modes and a plethora of new content is going to be added in PUBG Mobile 1.9 update. Meanwhile, players can look at some of the features leaked through beta content-

Royal Arena: Assault

Players will also be able to see a new mode named Royal Arena: Assault which will be quite similar to the Team Death Match modes, however, the difference in Royal Arena: Assault would be that players will spawn in specific areas of Erangel maps instead of Warehouse or Hangar.

Cheer Park 2.0

The existing Cheer Park will be revamped and a lot of new features will be added to the existing Cheer Park. Players will be able to see a new shooting area and an enlarged space where players can ride their vehicles in a designated race track.
