Rainbow Six Siege: How to get more headshots
Rainbow six siege is notorious for its one shit headshot mechanic. It is its signature mechanic that differentiates it from any other shooter on the market and in eSports. The guns in Rainbow six siege are purposely unbalanced with attackers having slightly better guns than defenders. This makes it all the more important for defenders to line up those headshots as in a one-on-one fight they are inherently at a disadvantage. So how do you improve your aim in rainbow six siege?
1) Pistol terrorist hunt
This idea seems impossible to execute in the beginning and it is. But since pistols are semi auto and most terrorists use automatic weapons you will be forced to learn to aim at head level or lose. After around 50 pistol Terrorist Hunts you will begin to notice the difference in your aim and you will definitely win more gunfights than you did before.

2) Attachments and recoil control
Attachments in Rainbow six siege play an important role in being able to control recoil. Each gun in the game has a distinctive recoil pattern. This pattern can be modified by using different attachments. After years of experimentation, the community has found the recommended attachments for each gun a list of which can be found here.
Recoil control can be mastered by going into terrorist hunts. Like Pistol Terrorist Hunts there could be a lot of losing in lone wolf but the long-term payoffs for the same are tremendous.

3) Holding off and nasty angles
If you encounter an opponent with equal skill, chances are that they will be aiming for the head too. Unlike most games however siege presents a unique opportunity to have a destructible environment. This gives the opportunity to hold nasty angles which your opponent will not see coming. This will give you the upper hand
