The History between GE and Enigma
Global eSports and Enigma Gaming have gone face to face quite a few times and the scales haven’t always been in GE’s favour.
They have constantly been beaten by EG over the past few months including once in Skyesports’ own event of the WD Black Cup Season 3 which followed a King of the Hill format that GE had been winning the past two times. EG were the ones to come along and dethrone them in a shameful 3-0 defeat.
Today, as both Global eSports went against Enigma Gaming with the scars from the Skyesports WD Black Cup Season 3 and the first match of the tournament still fresh, the feelings of revenge were at a high for them, and boy did they make full use of them.

The Skyesports Souvenir 2022 Mumbai Grand Finals Best of 5 Post Match Analysis
The heat was high around the match as Enigma had not lost a single match throughout the tournament and were the first ones to get a spot in the finals yesterday while Global had only lost one single game, The first one against Enigma.
Global made it clear after the first match that they weren’t going to let themselves be pushed around by the other teams. This attitude was clear in the 2-1 series against Velocity Gaming and also in the 2-1 series against Team Snakes.
Today, when the first map began, Global did what nobody could’ve expected. They took away the first half in a whopping 11-1 and it wasn’t long until Global took the entire match away in a 13-5 after giving away 4 rounds in the second one.
Fracture started pretty well for Enigma Gaming as they took away the pistol and the half-buy. Though they did lose the bonus round, but they seemed to be back on their feet in the first full buy however, the next 8 rounds were taken by Global eSports consecutively making it yet another half dominated by Global eSports in a 9-3 fashion.
Map 3 being Split was where the real fight seemed to begin. Enigma Gaming put up a fierce first 3 rounds and Global fought back in response to take away the next 4. The give and take continues and the first half ended in a 7-5 in the favour of Global eSports.
The second half’s pistol round was taken by Enigma Gaming but then Global eSports came in with a thrifty to get the half buy. Another give and take of rounds ensues and we get to overtime. The first overtime gets to an equaliser, and so does the second. When Global eSports gets a lead in the third qualifier, Enigma Gaming calls for a strategic timeout and as soon as the game begins, Global eSports push A Ramps with Rossi getting the quickest 3K you would’ve ever seen. He gets RvK out to get the 4K and skillZ finishes the match by taking out rawfiul on A and Global eSports take away the first ever Valorant LAN in India.
