Valorant players were excited to finally experience the release of Episode 6 Act 1, which brought a variety of new content to the game. One of the most highly-anticipated additions was the new map, Lotus, which is located in the Western Ghats of India. This map is proving to be quite interesting, as it features unique mechanics that are different from other maps in the game, such as Haven, which also has three sites: A, B, and C.
Map features in Valorant are an important aspect of the game, and each map has its own unique set of mechanics. Ascent, for example, has doors that can be opened and closed, Bind has teleporters, and Fracture has zip lines that span all the way to what is essentially another Attacker Spawn. In the case of Lotus, the map mechanic is Rotating Doors. These doors allow players to rotate through different sections of the map and can be used to gain an advantage over the opposing team.
Information is key in Valorant, and Initiators are important for acquiring that. Fade is currently considered to be the best Agent in this category, and having lineups for her signature ability, Haunt, on various maps could be of great help to the team. Below are some of the basic lineups that players can use to enter, defend, or retake sites on Lotus:
