Twitch reportedly considering lifting the permaban from Adin Ross following his record-breaking Kim Jong-un livestream
Will fans see Adin on purple brand?
For a couple of weeks, Kick streamer Adin Ross has been promoting and pushing the idea that he’ going to have the North Korean Supreme leader ‘Kim Jong-Un’ for an interview. However, Adin hyped the interview only for a professional impersonator to show up. Most of the fans already knew that Kim Jong would not come for the interview, but you never know what can happen in Adin’s stream. Despite disappointing fans, the stream broke the peak viewer record on Kick. Now, in the wake of this record-breaking viewership, Twitch is considering revisiting the idea of permanently banning Adin from the streaming platform
Adin Ross has seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. His fast-paced career has seen a constant rise in numbers and influencers. However, one thing that has also seen an increase is the number of bans on social media platforms. Adin has faced numerous bans over the years. However, almost 7 months ago, he got his final permanent ban from Twitch.
Immediately after, Adin joined Kick for a massive multi-year contract. He was also given higher roles as he was one of the first big streamers to join the Stake-backed company. However, ever since then, Adin has not looked back as his content has been uplifted more than ever. With the expansion of collaborations he extends out to, Adin’s views have not been any shorter since moving platforms.

Adin Ross might soon get unbanned on Twitch
Despite an impersonator showing up to the live stream, the hype built before the livestream had hit the jackpot. Adin Ross had over 450,000+ viewers join the stream just as the stream started, all awaiting to see Adin Ross in the presence of the Supreme leader of North Korea. This number had become a record-breaker for Adin Ross’s stream on Kick. The hype was built so far to the point where mainstream media were covering articles on Adin’s interview with the North Korean dictator even before it happened.
Following this massive successful trick by Adin, it is now being reported that Twitch is considering unbanning Adin Ross. This comes after Twitch’s CEO, Dan Clancy, had revealed recently that they’re ‘open to giving permabanned streamers another chance’. This includes the likes of Adin Ross, IShowSpeed etc. Fans are speculating following his previous past with Twitch, along with his recent massive success on Kick with the Kim Jong-Un interview, he might be front-listed to be unbanned.
Another big streamer who also happens to be ‘permabanned’ is IShowSpeed. Earlier this year time Kai Cenat had requested Dan Clancy to unban Speed from Twitch, and Dan accepted his request. No official news has come till now from Twitch, however, it’s been more than 7 months that Adin has been banned on Twitch, and with the attention he garners, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Twitch unban the megastar.
