Youtube gaming content creator Rachell “Valkyrae”, has 3.65 million followers on her channel, and on top of that, she is the co-owner of the 100 Thieves. Rae reacted to rumors of Twitch’s remake revenue sharing policy.

In a recent podcast on youtube, she talks about the topic of Twitch’s new monetization changes. She thinks that these changes do not benefit the viewers as well as the content creator. She said: “I think that means Twitch is going broke.”

Rae reacted to the rumored information about the new Twitch monetization policy. According to Bloomberg, Twitch thinking of redesigning its Partner Program policy for the past few months twitch is already trying new changes.

From rumors, the streaming platform considering more focus on incentives for ads, a new rev split (70%>50%), a new tiers system, no more exclusivity, and changes could be implemented this summer.

Youtube star reacted to her broadcast and talked about it and share her views on this topic with fans:

“Oh, my gosh, did you guys see all the stuff about Twitch and the thing?”

Then she wait for the chats reply, she continued the conversation

“It’s not very good for viewers, and it’s not very good for the creator,” she said. She thinks that Twitch is doing this because they want more capital for the company. She stated: “Since they’re prioritizing the business over the creators. It must have paid out. They must have paid too much money.”

After this, she talks about the company owned by Jeff Bezos and said money is not the problem for Amazon “Which I’m confused about because isn’t Amazon-like super-wealthy?” she said.

However, Valkyrae continued her daily live stream and played the new game Overwatch 2 beta version with her friends. Fans reacted to this topic and said that the new revenue policy will make twitch streamers move to Youtube for fair revenues.
