“I feel so bad for her”: Valkyrae voices concern for Amouranth

Amouranth’s narrative of domestic abuse left the Twitter community stunned. Many streamers came forward to express their support towards the OnlyFans streamer, who recently revealed that she had been married for the past seven years and her husband was quite abusive and manipulative.

On October 17, 2022, Valkyrae stated her concern for Amouranth’s welfare in light of the latter’s abusive relationship’s disclosures. The streamer launched a direct attack at the people who constantly criticize Amouranth and her spouse online.

The issue was raised by Valkyrae in her latest recent broadcast. She remarked, voicing worries for the safety of her friend:

“I am pretty worried that something bad happened.”

The YouTuber addressed the issue and stated:

“Oh God, I am incredibly lethargic today. I think I just after seeing all of the Amouranth news that happened today, it was just so draining just like being on the internet.”

Amouranth recently revealed that she had been in an abusive marriage for the past 7 years

Amouranth has a terrible past loaded with obsessed followers and internal conflicts. The hot-tub streamer said in a recent livestream that she is married and that the union is filled with issues, adding to the difficulties.

On Monday, October 17, the well-known Twitch streamer started off her live broadcast by emotionally accusing her husband.  According to the online persona, her husband manipulates her using unpleasant methods. She never openly disclosed her relationship to her followers in public because of this.

On a more concerning note, her spouse has complete control over her financial transactions and has even threatened to jeopardize her financial stability unless he is given access to all of her financial accounts related to content creation.

The pair had consulted a therapist, according to a statement made by Amouranth later in the stream, but the relief was just temporary.

“The therapist even told him that it’s a form of psychological abuse and that I’m basically living in a fancy prison,” said the streamer. “And then he was changed for a bit. And then the hot tub meta arose.”

Valkyrae worries about Amouranth’s safety

Fans and others in the industry expressed their worries for the streamer’s safety and well-being after seeing this clip, which seems to depict a troubling portrait.

Valkyrae complained, taking a direct shot at those attempting to deny her abusive husband’s accusations:

“Today I was so sad, just so, so sad, I feel so bad for her and literally this is the exact reason why abuse victims have a hard time coming out because of how these people are reacting to it online. It’s really sad.”

She referred to Amouranth as one of the best female streamers in the industry and advised people to pay attention to the situation. The streamer continued her argument, adding

“Twitter is kind of crazy sometimes. Twitter is so crazy… I hope she is okay as well. I reached out but she has not responded yet, so I am pretty worried that something bad happened but hopefully she’s okay.”

Many others like Pokimane and Alinity have also shared their concern for the streamer, even going to the extent of sending the police over to their house to ensure Amouranth’s safety.
