Valorant agent “Giraffe” is potentially under development
The reliable Valorant insider, Mike, aka ValorLeaks, reported on Twitter that the codename for the upcoming agent is going to be Giraffe. Codenames are essential, as they give hints about an agent’s abilities and theme. For example, Chamber had the codename Deadeye before he was released in the game. This is very minimal information about the agent but has become the talk of the town.
So, what might “Giraffe” possibly bring to the game? One idea is that this agent could have an amazing ability to see the whole battlefield from up high. This strategic advantage could be a big deal for players who become skilled with this agent. But players need to be careful not to get too excited just yet. During the early stages of making the game, codenames are usually temporary. These names might not show exactly what the agent will be like in the end.
However, Mike has also added that this can be the codename for an old agent which might be scrapped. These codenames sometimes get left in the game files. Nonetheless, it might be just a small hint about what the agent looks like or where they come from. No matter if “Giraffe” ends up being the next agent or not, it’s obvious that the Valorant players want new stuff and a different way to play the game. People are excited and can’t wait to hear the official announcement from Riot Games.
