Optic Gaming won the Valorant Masters Reykjavík 2022

Masters Reykjavik is the first international Valorant event of the 2022 VCT circuit. This Tournament kicked off on the 10th of April and we will get our first Masters champions of the year Optic Gaming.

Optic Gaming start their journey in the tournament from the group stage and from there they qualified for the playoffs and beat the top teams in the playoffs team enter the grand final against Loud and won against them in the Bo5 series by a 3-0 scoreline.

VCT is the Riot Games’ official circuit for Valorant. In the Stage 1 Masters Reykjavik, 12 teams from across the globe will meet in Iceland and represent their region. All teams will face each other for straight 14 days and the best of the best will raise the trophy of VCT 2022 Stage 1 Masters Reykjavik.

Optic Gaming vs Loud Valorant Masters Reykjavík 2022 Grand Final

Optic Gaming faced Loud in the Grand Final of the Valorant Masters Reykjavík 2022 Stage 1. Grand Final is a Bo5 series, where Optic Gaming clean swipe the Loud (BR) by a 3-0 scoreline.

Map 1(Ascent): In the first half Optic Gaming dominated by a 10-2 score. In the second half, Loud tried to come back but it was too let for them, and lost their match by a 13-9 scoreline.

Map 2(Bind): On this map, Loud has the lead advantage in the first half by an 8-4 score. But from the comeback Optic Gaming close the match by a 14-12 scoreline.

Map 3(Breeze): Map 3 becomes the last map for both the teams and in which Optic Gaming won by a 15-13 scoreline in the second overtime. The team claims the championship by a 3-0 scoreline in the Grand Finals.

Map 4(Icebox): Optic Gaming won the first 3 maps so this map was not played.

Map 5(Haven): Optic Gaming won the first 3 maps so this map was not played.
