Valorant Pro City is a step in the right direction to tackle current issues in Competitive Queue.

Valorant Pro City: Tarik’s 10-man server explained

Playing Valorant competitive mode has its fair share of issues. Some of these issues are smurfing; teammates not coordinating and some players willingly throwing the ranked games. But recently, a new problem surfaced in North American Valorant region. In Radiant matches, some players were throwing games in exchange for crypto. It was ruining the gaming experience for all top-tier players including pro players and content creators.

To combat these issues, Tarik, a former pro player, and famous Twitch streamer came up with an idea. He started a new concept called Pro City. Basically, it prevents crypto throwers and non-communicators from infesting the games. Since everyone on the server needs to be invited, members of Pro City can hold other members accountable for their in-game behavior. Pros and other high-level players have migrated to the server in massive numbers as they look for better practice choices than the Valorant ranked server, which can be crowded with players who are showing toxic behavior.

Members of the Pro City Council invite the players to Pro City. Currently, the Pro City council remains unnamed. The group is made up of seasoned professionals who remain nameless to the public and to one another out of respect for their privacy. They only invite players who have been on the top of the ranked table or have played professionally. Currently, Valorant Pro City has 139 players. You can see Shroud, SEN Tenz, G2 ShahZam, V1 Mel, C9 Zellsis, etc., among these 139 players. Pro city not only gives a safe and soothing environment but also provides a great competitive gaming experience as all of these players are the best of the bests. Tarik also revealed that Pro City also offers lesser-known players the to improve in this environment.

You can watch these matches on the content creators’ Twitch accounts. They usually stream these matches while playing. there is no fixed schedule for games. Players in Pro City join server queue rooms where they will be matched up against one another to create the most equitable and balanced matchup.

Pro City Server uses a Discord plug-in, NeatQueue to track players’ wins and losses and according to that give the MMR. You can see the Pro City leaderboard on NeatQueue. As of now, FaZe Dicey is dominating the leaderboard with 1460 MMR. But like a normal Valorant Leaderboard, it will also be subject to change.
