Valorant Pro ScreaM hints at a possible return to Counter-Strike competitive scene with CS2 after the underwhelming VCT 2023 season
Karmine Corp's VCT 2023 season was disappointing for fans and ScreaM takes the full burnt for it!
ScreaM's potential return to CS2
The 1Tap machine and former Counter-Strike pro, ScreaM, may return to Counter-Strike after his underwhelming VCT 2023 season. Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom was originally a Counter-Strike player who played for major eSports organizations like G2 & Fnatic. Despite his immense love for CS, the pro player switched over to Valorant in 2020. With his immense skills, the former CS player played for Team Liquid and has now switched over to Karmine Corp.
However, this VCT 2023 season hasn’t been great so far for both ScreaM & Karmine Corp both. The Org’s performance was so poor that they landed the last spot in the VCT EMEA League regular seasons. Which thus disqualified them from the EMEA League playoffs. Furthermore, NaVi snatched the last shot from ScreaM and his Org to qualify for VCT Champions during the EMEA LCQs. This has been a huge blow to both the Org and the former CS pro.
With this, the VCT 2023 season for ScreaM & Karmine Corp is now over. And after this major fumble, the former CS pro may have some new ideas for his future. Moreover, this future may potentially involve a switch back to the game this Pro player had left in 2020.

ScreaM hints at switching over to CS2 after his disastrous VCT 2023 season
With the current VCT season gone down the drain for ScreaM and his Org, fans are unsure whether the Pro player would continue with Valorant‘s competitive scene. Karmine Corp had a rocky start from the get-go. With just three weeks in the EMEA League, Alexis ‘Newzera’ Humbert left the Org and was accused of abandoning the team by ScreaM. And with such a bad start, the Org’s downfall was inevitable, and that’s what exactly happened.
Furthermore, the former CS Pro has hinted at his potential return to the upcoming CS2 Competitive scene. “Never took a flight that fast after a game, already back homeTime to rest some and reflect on the options I got for the future of my career. I heard there’s a game coming out soon..” said the former CS Pro.
The former CS player made another tweet, in French, saying how he’s disappointed with KC’s performance, and he takes “full responsibility” for it. Although, in another Tweet, ScreaM said that he wouldn’t quit until he sees his younger brother, Nivera, win. Nivera followed ScreaM when he switched over to Karmine Corp and played together with his brother in the VCT 2023 season.
Considering ScreaM’s commitment to his brother, fans are hoping that the pro player may stick around for another season. And if he does, ScreaM would need to work a lot on his Org and team members, so the next season wouldn’t be as disastrous as this one was.
