Riot Games tie-up with Skyesports to host VCT(Valorant Champions Tour) Stage 2 SA Challengers in the South Asian region, this event replaces the NODWIN Gaming VCC (Valorant Conquerors Championship). In South Asia, Valorant is the most liked PC esports game right now with the highest watching and many tournaments.
Skyesports is the Chennai-based Indian organization that hosts third-party tournaments of many games like BGMI, Free Fire, Dota, etc, with every new tournament title Skyesports Championship, Skyesports Grand Slam, and Skyesports League 2021. This time Skyeports tie-up with Riot Games to host an official tournament “VCT Stage 2 SA Challengers”.

Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Stage 2 SA Challengers 2022
On April 19, Skyesports shares the news that they are going to host VCT Stage 2 SA Challengers by tieing-up Riot Games its official tournament title. After the immense success of Valorant eSports Riot is now expanding to other regions also and is directly involved in the global circuit.
“We at Skyesports are super excited to bring you the Official VCT Stage 2 SA Challengers! A golden opportunity for the teams from the South Asian region to represent in VCT Global circuit!South Asia! Its Time. To. Rise!” Skyesports tweet.
In this tweet, they also said it’s a golden opportunity for South Asian teams to represent their region in VCT Global circuit, and now it’s confirmed that the SA region is also now part of the Global Circuit where every team gets the point after playing the official tournament.
However, South Asian teams still have to fight in APAC stage 2 challengers after qualifying from the VCT SA Stage 2 Challengers and competing with the best teams from SEA. After this, if they win the APAC Challenger then they qualify for the Masters.
This is just the tie-up announcement made by Skyesports and yet the format, prize pool, and schedule still do not disclose. Riot replaced the VCC with VCT in the SA region and also changed the organizer for hosting the tournament.
