The new Agent was then given an extended official tease back in early December during Riot Games major esports competition, Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), where she made a very brief appearance in a promotional trailer.  The voice line of the new agent brings more to attention the fact that she is from the Philippines in her native language while conversing with her mother.

She is the 19th agent of the roster and a duelist who will bring broken gameplay to the current scene. She has found her most fitted voice in valorant as well.

“I’m literally shaking right now this is the coolest thing ever. Thank you for this amazing feature, @PlayVALORANT!!! I kinda wish the studio always has this badass neon aesthetic (pun intended) whenever I’m in there to record her lines haha!” the voice actor tweeted earlier.

Vanille Velasquez, an experienced voice actor originating from the Philippines, voices Neon. She is also the voice actress of Zeri in League of Legends.

“I am unbelievably honored, stoked and PROUD AF to announce that I am the voice of VALORANT Agent 19 NEON! This has been such a dream come true. I’m kind of at a loss right now. This doesn’t feel real. I can’t believe I’m really saying this right now,” she added.

She has previously voiced various anime and video game characters in English and Tagalog. Being bilingual, she fitted the character flawlessly.
