Previously, Valorant players had only one premium tier Karambit knife, which was the melee option in the Prime 2.0 bundle. There was another Karambit weapon in the game, Ruin, which was given in a Battle Pass which was not premium skin. had received the Prime Karambit that was a hit among players.

A large portion of the Valorant player base comes from other games such as Rainbow 6, Overwatch, Call of Duty, and more importantly, CS: GO. The Ruin Dagger in Valorant takes its inspiration from the Falchion Knife in CSGO and the Prime Knife is inspired by the Karambit in CS: GO.

Therefore, it is no surprise that Valorant players had been requesting the CS: GO fan-favorite Karambit Knife to be introduced in Riot Game’s tactical shooter. Since Valorant releases a new bundle in every new act, it is speculated that the new knife might be a part of the new bundle.

It will be the next karambit to arrive in a battlepass after the Ruin dagger. Although there has still bee no further discussions about rest of the items in battlepass, there are more to arrive in future.
