In a really exciting match during the VCT Americas Last Chance Qualifier tournament, Sentinels came out on top against 100 Thieves, ending 100 Thieves’ journey in the VCT 2023 season. People were looking forward to this match between the two teams, and it lived up to the excitement, showing an intense battle filled with really exciting moments and amazing plays.

Last year, 100 Thieves were the stronger team and beat the Sentinels in the North American VCT Last Chance Qualifier. But this time, the situation changed, and the Sentinels got their payback by winning a tough and well-earned victory. Sentinels’ Victory Against 100 Thieves at VCT Americas LCQ

Sentinels had a tough time during the regular season of the VCT Americas League. They didn’t meet the expectations and other teams performed better than them. After making important changes to their team, including adding Marved as the new IGL and the return of Tenz, who was previously unable to play due to injury, Sentinels began to improve. With these adjustments, they found stability and started to play well again.

The match between Sentinels and 100 Thieves in the VCT Americas LCQ showed how Sentinels made a strong comeback. The series took place over three intense maps, with both teams fighting for the advantage. The first map, Pearl close match that went into extra rounds. 100 Thieves barely won with a score of 14-12, but Sentinels didn’t give up. They made a strong comeback on the second map, Split, and dominated with a score of 13-7.

With the series tied, everything depended on the third map, Bind. This map was very fun to watch thanks to Tenz and Asuna picking up Yoru. Sentinels showed they were determined and skilled, putting on a strong performance to finish the series with another 13-7 victory. This win guaranteed their spot in the later stage of the LCQ tournament, while 100 Thieves’ VCT 2023 season came to a close.

Both teams have gone through many changes in their player lineups because they didn’t perform as well as expected. Sentinels had already made some changes to their coaching staff and in-game leader (IGL) during the 2023 season. On the other hand, 100 Thieves made news by completely changing their roster in 2022. As the 100 Thieves’ VCT 2023 season comes to an end, they will now turn their attention to the time between seasons and their future in the tournament circuit.

The VCT Americas LCQ has been a fierce competition for teams trying to secure the last spot in the important VCT Champions 2023 event. NRG, LOUD, and Evil Geniuses have already earned their spot by performing well in the VCT Americas League. They have a consistent team, with Marved leading as IGL. Sentinels have shown that they can overcome challenges and compete at the highest level.
