Fnatic started on the attacker’s side, and most of their losses in the first half were from spike defuses. Furthermore, the first half ended with a score of 8-4, with Fnatic in the lead.

However, as soon as the sides switched, Fnatics went on the back foot. FUT consecutively won the first 6 rounds of the second half, taking away Fnatic’s lead. By the end of the first map, FUT beat Fnatic with a score of 13-9. Derke from Fnatic and MOJJ were the top fraggers of their teams.

After the loss of Fnatic’s map pick, fans were nervous that the team’s constant, victorious journey might come to an end soon. Though Fnatic crushed FUT in the other two maps, FUT picked the second map, which was Split. And they were decimated on the map. All five players on the team had rebounds in single digits. On the other hand, Fnatic players were dropping frags after frags.

The first half closed with a staggering score of 10-2, with FUT winning only two rounds. The second half started only to finish soon after, with FUT registering zero wins in the half.
