As evident by his streams, IShowSpeed is a massive fan of football. He plays a ton of EA FC on his channel and longs for huge football matches. Speed is an enormous fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, as he has made precise several times on his livestreams.

His fandom for the Portuguese is naturally accompanied by slight animosity for Ronaldo’s greatest rival, Argentinian Ronaldo Messi. IShowSpeed even went to the Ballon d’Or 2023 ceremony simply to support Lionel Messi’s rival, Erling Haaland, after Ronaldo didn’t qualify for the award. This hatred has resulted in some hilarious memes from fans.

Speed’s fans often troll him for Messi’s World Cup 2022 victory, a trophy Ronaldo never won. His fans also send him hilarious edits and memes of the Argentinian footballer. IShowSpeed came across a similar edit of Lionel Messi saying the n-word while Speed was scrolling Instagram reels live on stream.

While scrolling football reels on his Instagram, IShowSpeed stopped on a video that had a thumbnail featuring Lionel Messi. Speed lets the video play and sees Messi giving an interview. The video is short, with Messi repeating two sentences: “Good morning n*gga, how did you sleep, my n*gga?”

The video is a deepfake, as the voice sounds nothing like Messi, not to mention the fact that Messi is incredibly weak at English. Despite this, Speed plays along. He is flabbergasted by Messi’s words and stands up from his chair. He repeatedly screams, “Oh my god!” and “What!?” as he looks through the comments on the reel.

The comments are filled with GIFs of Messi, and some people mentioned that the video needed to be sent to IShowSpeed. Speed reads a comment that reads, “This is why I like Messi.” Upon reading this, Speed turns around and points his rear end at the camera. The Ohio native also left his comment expressing his surprise at what he just saw.

Speed recently was destroyed by KSI in their sparring session and was visibly heartbroken. Speed stormed off from the gym without even shaking hands with KSI, with whom he has a brotherly relationship. He also talked about KSI stopping the match early. Speed said he played him and insulted him by not finishing the fight.
