WB Games delays Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League release again to later this year
Fans have to wait till they can kill the Superman and other Justice League members.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the newest game in Arkhamverse developed by Rocksteady and WB Games. WB Games already saw great success with its newly released game, Hogwarts Legacy. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was announced in 2021 August and was set to release in 2022. But like Hogwarts Legacy, Warner Bros. delayed the release date of this game too to 2023. They announced that Suicide Squad will release on 26 May 2023. However, it has been reported that the game has been delayed yet again.
The game lore is very exciting and fans already know how well Rocksteady crafts games when it is related to Arkhamverse. All the previous games in the Arkham franchise are regarded as the best superhero games ever. However, after the gameplay showcased in Sony’s State of Play, Suicide Squad has seen considerable backlash.
According to Sony‘s State of Play’s lengthy gameplay showcase, Suicide Squad will be a live-service game featuring a battle pass, an RPG-style gear system, and a necessary online connection. Although it takes place in Rocksteady’s Arkhamverse, the game appears to be significantly distant from earlier Arkham titles.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will reportedly still release in 2023

Jason Schreier of Bloomberg reports that Warner Bros. has postponed the game’s original May 26 release date. According to Bloomberg, the information was provided by an unnamed individual with first-hand knowledge of the situation. No new release date has been specified as of yet.
The source, who asked to remain anonymous since the conversation involved private information, claimed that the delay was required primarily to repair bugs and advance game elements that were lagging behind and would not significantly alter the fundamental gameplay that had caused the criticism. However, Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady are to announce this delay officially.
The game features fan-favorite Taskforce X, created by Amanda Waller. She recruited 4 of the best criminals from Arkham Asylum to do her job. These criminals include King Shark, Harley, Quinn, Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot, and Boomerang. The Brainiac has invaded the Metropolis and has managed to possess members of the Justice League. Now in the absence of the first defense of the city, Taskforce X has been tasked to take out Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and the Caped Crusader, Batman.
In addition to all these things, the main reason that makes this game so special is that it will feature the legendary, Late Kevin Conrory‘s voice for Batman for the last time. He has given voice to Batman in the Batman Animated Series, Justice League Animated Series, all the Batman Arkham games, and much more. So there are many emotions attached to this game and thus, devs have the job to match fans’ expectations.
