Another day, another esports drama. 2023 has given fans loads of news & drama to keep them engaged throughout. Recently, NORTHEPTION fried one of their ace players after a racism incident. And now, another feud has popped up in the Valorant community. The Valorant Aim community is beefing up with Valorant pros over Valorant’s in-game mechanics.
Different aim communities have been active in almost every FPS game since their launch. The objective of Aim Communities is to excel at the game’s in-game shooting mechanics. They utilize aim trainers to get better at aiming in the games. Valorant’s aim community’s most highly regarded player goes by the nickname of Neon Aimbot. Furthermore, they are infamous for having an overly toxic personality in the community and now have engaged in a dispute with G2’s ShahZam.
Their feud sparked through a reply from Shahzam on a Twitter post from Neon Aimbot. And it has slowly turned into a meme in the Valorant community. Famous streamers like Kyedae and Valorant Org, Sentinels, are proactively using this incident as a meme. And fans are rolling in laughter.
Neon Aimbot’s beef with ShahZam
Recently Neon Aimbot, a prominent member of the Valorant Aim Community, posted a video on Twitter showcasing ‘flaws’ in Valorant’s shooting mechanics. Furthermore, they talked about the initial spread of VALORANT and why it is absurd for a competitive game to have such mechanisms. ShahZam, a prominent Valorant Pro and current member of G2 Esports, refuted Neon Aimbot’s argument.
In the game’s defense, ShahZam mentioned that the Valorant expects players to put themselves into positions exerting power by utilizing the game mechanics. Unlike Aim trainers, where players have to be accurate all the time. Furthermore, a tactical FPS game should’ve elements like aim spread, inaccuracy, and other similar mechanics. Moreover, this would make the game more accessible and not favor people who have fast natural reaction time and tracking skills.
You’re shooting a pistol at long-range? Ofc there will be bullet spread. I think you’re missing the point of it being a tactical fps, this is not an aim trainer. The goal is to set yourself up to take better fights.

However, Neon Aimbot ignored ShahZam’s well-structured argument and went ahead to say, “I’ll see you in Dallas buddy.” Upon this, ShahZam claimed he didn’t know what this meant. The reply the Neon Aimbot gave slowly turned into a community favorite meme.
Sentinel, a Valorant Org famous for their out-of-pocket humor, photoshopped Neon Aimbot’s reply into an in-game message from Agent Neon. Moreover, this received a lot of ‘LOLs’ from the community.
This incident has shot Neon Aimbot’s tweet to the top charts with a 3,215.7% increase in Tweet impressions. Almost every drama ends up with both or multiple parties being overly hostile to each other. So seeing a drama slowly turning into a meme is a good change of pace for the community. Neon Aimbot, too had hearty laughs over these memes, which is very contrasting with his claimed personality.
