Epic Games has done a great job with Fortnite Season OG. The season finally comes to a close on December 3rd with the Big Bang event. However, there seems to be an issue in the game that is bothering players. According to the developers, the waiting queue in Fortnite for the Big Bang event has exceeded Epic Games’ expectations.

The waiting time to get into the game is excessively long. Even if you get in, the server working at a high load has led to many players being booted out of the match or sometimes the game entirely. This requires you to enter the waiting queue in Fortnite all over again.

A huge volume of players is causing a waiting queue error. This is likely due to people logging onto the game in mass numbers wanting to witness the Eminem concert in Fortnite. Regardless of whether you are a seasoned veteran or somebody who installed the game for the first time for the concert, everybody logging in to witness Rap God has made the waiting queue excessively long.

How to fix the Waiting Queue Error in Fortnite

Epic Games has acknowledged the existence of this error, which seems to be bothering many players. An official Fortnite Twitter account posted about players experiencing performance degradation, matchmaking, and login issues. The account said it would update the situation after the developers had more information.

Considering this is a server issue, you cannot “fix” the error from your end. However, you can take a few steps to reduce your chances of getting the error in the game. For example, peak hours can be a nuisance as the servers only allow a limited number of players. Thus, not playing at peak hours will avoid the waiting queue error. Additionally, check whether your internet connection is stable and the status of Fortnite servers.

Lastly, many replies have responded to the tweet complaining about the error. Epic Games has not provided any concrete responses to the players. In the meantime, all players can do is wait for the developers to solve the issue.
