Will BGMI Lite release in December? Everything known so far

The demand for BGMI Lite has been increasing over the recent months and has been enhanced ever since Krafton gave some official hints regarding the game’s release. As of now, there are rumours circulating around the internet that the toned down version of BGMI might be released in the month of December.

Krafton was successful in bringing Battlegrounds Mobile India as a replacement for the famous battle royale, PUBG Mobile in India. The officials had made it clear that players with low end devices will be able to play the game smoothly, however, much to the disappointment of the players, the latency and high ping issue were persistent in low end devices. To counter this, fans had flooded the official social media handles of BGMI raising their demand for BGMI Lite and it seems that the demands are making progress somehow as a potential release date announcement might arrive in the month of December.

BGMI Lite release date in December?

The void created by the ban of PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite can be felt deeply by the gamers as the latter game had a significant popularity in India due to its low storage requirements and decent quality of graphics. BGMI might have been able to become a true successor of PUBG Mobile in India but the menace created by hackers seems to be unending and this has forced the fans to urge Krafton to release a lighter version of Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Even though Krafton has not given any official confirmation regarding the game’s release and had previously ruled out the possibilities of the game’s arrival due to the lightweight installation function in BGMI, fans are expecting a good news soon as Krafton had started an official poll asking fans “Why do you need BGMI Lite”? The poll is already over and millions of fans gave their specific reasons for the requirement of BGMI Lite. Few days ago, the officials came up with a survey questionnaire regarding the LITE version.

In addition to that, GodLike Esports coach, Ghatak had previously told his fans, “BGMI Lite will definitely come, it will take time, but aayega zaruur!” In an interview with Sportskeeda, Ghatak had revealed that the game is likely to be rolled out in mid December. Other known faces of BGMI such as Ocean Sharma and Maxtern had also assured their fans that a huge surprise is waiting for them which indicates the arrival of BGMI Lite soon.

Although, Krafton has kept mum regarding the game’s announcement and fans should consider these as rumours and wait for official confirmation. If BGMI Lite arrives, it is expected that several players who own low end devices might shift to the game, therefore, Krafton is looking at all possibilities.
