Reports: 55% women find it a “red flag” if their partner listens to the Joe Rogan Podcast
The Joe Rogan Podcast is officially a turn-off, according to a new study.
In recent times, the world has seen a major shift in gender stereotypes and the culture of living. Modern times have seen a change in the way gender roles can be played. Thus, as a result, different expectations are set for dating the other gender than they used to. Surprisingly, Joe Rogan seemed to have become a deciding factor in a recent new study.
One of the biggest podcasters in the world seems to have a role in this generation deciding whether their partner is a “red flag” or a “green flag“. According to Change Research, they released a poll that claimed the majority of women could consider their partner a “red flag” if their partner listens to the Joe Rogan podcast.
With that being said, there is no denying the fact that the Joe Rogan Podcast is arguably the most popular one in the world. On average, it racks up to 11 million listeners per episode. Joe Rogan, however, began his career as a commentator in the well-established UFC. He is a well-known personality amongst combat sports geeks, and for a long time now he has also gained traction as a podcaster on many interesting topics.
Partners who watch Joe Rogan are deemed a red flag by 55% of women according to a poll
Despite Joe Rogan’s controversial moments, the success of his podcast would deem him the opposite. However, a large portion of the Gen Z generation seems to disagree. According to a poll of 1,033 registered users, partners watching the Joe Rogan podcast are deemed a red flag by 55% of women in that study. The voters were reported to be between the ages of 18 and 34.
Other votes claimed that 53% of women see their partner as a “red flag” if they refuse to see the new Barbie movie. This is surprising, as Joe Rogan, amongst everyone else, defended the movie, claiming it was “goofy and fun.”. He even said in a conversation with Post Malone that he did not understand why everyone was critical of the movie, saying “It isn’t anti-men, rather it’s making fun of dorks”.
This came as a shock, as Joe Rogan is familiar with promoting masculinity as a side order to his promotion of martial arts, something he holds dear. However, despite surprisingly defending Barbie, women seem to still see him as ‘turning off’. This controversial news has stirred the red pill and awakened communities. Many notable celebrities, including Patrick Bet David, have spoken out against this.
