“Your community notices you”: xQc encourages streamers who missed out on being nominated at the Streamy Awards 2022

xQc has a message for every creator!
Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel responded to the Streamy Awards 2022 nominations that were announced by YouTube yesterday. Several household names were seen on the list of nominees but some unfortunately missed out, xQc has a message for them which he expressed on Twitter.
Keeping his tweet in his unique style of block letters, the professional streamer urged the content creators and fellow streamers not to be upset over the fact that they were not nominated for a certain award ceremony or weren’t able to bag awards at show.
xQc further continued, “You don’t need mainstream randoms to validate your efforts. Fu*k ’em, do your thing, your community notices, that’s all that matters.” The former Overwatch player was referring to the Streamy Awards 2022 as many renowned names such as Dr DisRespect and Amouranth were not visible in the list of nominees.
xQc calls out mainstream awards but Trainwreckstv has a harsh take
Award shows are hosted every year by Twitch and YouTube for digital content creators in different categories. This year as well, we saw YouTube Streamy Awards 2022 starting their nominations for ‘Streamer of the Year’, ‘Gamer of the Year’ and other prominent categories.
As the list was revealed, notable personalities such as Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys were the nominees for the ‘Streamer of the Year’ awards joining some new names such as Kai Cenat and iShowSpeed. Post the announcement, streamers had their reactions to provide on the list where xQc claimed that the mainstream shows shouldn’t be the priority of content creators.
Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Trainwreckstv’ Niknam, however had a different rant which left even the officials of ‘The Streamer Awards’and QTCinderella in astonishment. The streamer known for his bold takes replied to xQc’s tweet claiming, “all mainstream award shows thus far are monopolized circle je*ks.”

Tyler continued his tirades, “the only time the real creators win is when its for socio-political gain, f**k mainstream streamers and their circle je*k award shows.” Apparently, Trainwreckstv took the streamer’s tweet to a complete different path as he criticized the mainstream award shows as well as the creators, which is contrary to what Felix Lengyel stated.
Fans react to xQc’s message
The twitter post by the streamer has received more than 40K reactions at the time of writing this article and the comments are quite varied among fans. While most of them are appreciating the streamer for cheering up his fellow creators, others claimed it was an excuse as he wasn’t able to win any award despite being nominated.
