BGMI is receiving a lot of traffic, and more players are making a comeback at the game ever since it got unbanned. The BGMI has ever since had a lot of championships and tournaments hosted, and it even collaborated with Bugatti to add to the grandeur of the game. BGMI Champions Cup, which is being hosted by Nodwin Gaming and Rooter, began on June 21.

The tournament will feature 32 teams competing for 12 days to take the title of dimension. Time like Soul, Velocity, and Global Esports are also in the mix. The tournament will have 6 matches each day on 3 of the most competitive maps: Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.

With a huge response from various top-tier teams, the tournament began, among which 28 were invited teams and 4 were from India. The total 32 squad face-offs are divided into 4 groups.

The Champions Cup hosts a wholesome prize pool of 27 lakh rupees that will be distributed among the Top 16 teams in BGMI. The prize amount has been set quite handsomely for the Top 5 teams thereafter in reducing order. Below is the prize distribution for Nodwin X Rooter Champion Cup.

However, top teams like Team XSpark, Revenant, and GodLike eSports have yet to show any promising performance given their reputation as seasoned teams in BGMI.
