The controversy involving Twitch streamer Nadia Amine getting unbanned from the platform just hours after she was banned for doxxing a viewer, seems to have reached a new level as Zack ‘Asmongold’, who called out Twitch for not banning her permanently, has reiterated his views, claiming that he stands firm to his belief.
The OTK co-founder took to his Twitter account and highlighted the comments he had made on Nadia Amine. For those unaware, Asmongold had opined that a permanent ban should be imposed on her. He stated that he will be adamant in following whatever statements he has made previously.
“Doxxing someone on Twitch should result in an indefinite ban”, the streamer explained in his Twitter post while also expressing his amazement at the fact that he has to strike a conversation in this aspect to justify his claims. Asmongold, in a follow-up tweet, posted the link to the video where Nadia was doxxing the viewer.
He elucidated the ‘doxxing’ matter which happened on Nadia’s stream by describing that a PayPal account always consists of information about the person who is sending the amount. As Nadia was completely aware of this fact, the content creator believes that Nadia is clearly in the wrong here.
Why is Asmongold facing a backlash for his views on Nadia?
Zack ‘Asmongold‘ does not shy away from expressing what he believes, and for that he either posts his opinion on his social media accounts, or he makes a YouTube video to explain or justify his claims. This was evident once again as he was repeatedly stating that Twitch should not have unbanned Nadia.
He pointed out the cheating accusations that have been made on the streamer in Call of Duty Warzone, as well as how doxxing someone is a serious crime on social media. While most of the viewers agreed on the fact, that Nadia should have been banned for a long time, not everyone favored with the idea of banning her permanently.
Most of the users have started terming Asmongold as equally hypocritical, as he is urging people to ban a streamer who also holds a partnership with Twitch.

Here are some Twitter reactions that followed with the streamer’s tweet-
The community was divided over the decision taken by Twitch as they unbanned her hours after she violated a community guideline. Several users highlighted the favoritism adopted by the platform towards female viewers, as several male streamers such as JiDion and others, are still oblivious about why their account is still suspended.
Others were totally against the idea of banning someone permanently as doxxing might not be a heinous crime, compared to what happens on the platform on a regular basis, such as the ASMR streams.
While Asmongold does not seem to deter from his opinion, it is unlikely that Twitch will place a permanent ban on her. They might however, issue another warning to the streamer if she is found engaging in the same behavior again.
