FIFA World Cup 2022 pulled its curtains yesterday with Argentina lifting the coveted trophy after defeating France on penalties. The entire world, including streamers such as xQc and HasanAbi were witnessing the intense action unfold between the two teams.
Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel had been closely following every match of the World Cup, that even led him to be at the risk of getting banned on the platform. At the final match, the American internet personality pinned high hopes on Mbappe-led France team, considering the incredible performance they had displayed so far.
He shared a post on Twitter and also made a bet on his livestream, describing that he had put $500,000K USD at stake, as he was confident enough that victory would be taken by them. However, his hopes were shattered when Messi and Di Maria took Argentina by 2-0 lead.
He cashed out the bet immediately losing all the money he had put on betting, but when Mbappe completely turned over the match, he was ready to bet again despite losing such a whopping amount. Although, he didn’t meet a happy ending, which led streamer HasanAbi to mock him by claiming that kids should not gamble.

How much money did xQc lose yesterday on betting?
Even though Twitch had banned gambling following the ItsSliker controversy, sports betting was still allowed on the platform. Streamers such as Trainwreckstv shared how he had bet on different matches of the World Cup, but he ended up losing his money.
xQc also met the same fate when he had decided to give it all for the team he was rooting for. After losing $500,000K USD and cashing out the money after Argentina took the lead, France striker Kylian Mbappe helped Felix to regain his confidence on the team.
He put $100K USD on stake but that again went in vain as the penalty shootout favored Argentina. His chat reminded him that he had lost more than $600K on betting, which came true as the streamer posted a picture of himself looking depressed, as he lost $650K on his betting.
“That was tough, but it is what it is. S*** happens I guess,” xQc was disappointed over France losing the WC even after coming so near the trophy but he accepted the defeat and congratulated Argentina.

Fans react to xQc losing money on FIFA WC betting
TSM star reacted to the streamer cashing out the money after losing the bet, claiming that why should someone care about the $5K when he had already lost such a huge amount of cash.
xQc has been in the gambling scene for quite a while now, although he met several defeats, he also tasted success as he won more than a million on gambling once.
