“Back off Ludwig,” HasanAbi reacts after becoming the most watched Twitch US streamer in 2022

Streams Charts, a popular analytics website that tracks the viewership records for partnered streamers on Twitch and YouTube, recently released a data on the most watched US streamers this year, and Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker bagged the top position in the list for the first time. The streamer took to his recent livestream to explain how he feels after this achievement.
He also shared the chart and asked “I fell on”?, which led to several congratulatory messages from his fans. On his Twitch livestream, he expressed his elation claiming that they have finally done it. One of the viewers stated “Lud is trying to dethrone you” and asked him to scroll down when he was watching the data on Twitter.
HasanAbi read Ludwig’s comment and was going to give a hilarious reply, but he restricted himself from doing so. Eventually someone from the chat asked about xQc to which he replied, “xQc is a Canadian bro, that’s why we’re the number one in the United States of America.” The streamer continued to warn Ludwig, “Back off Ludwig”, but he meant it in a hilarious way.

Fellow streamers react on HasanAbi’s big win
With 2447 hours of streaming this year on Twitch, HasanAbi who mostly creates content on political issues or the ongoing controversies in the streamer’s industry, gained a viewership of 80.5 million. Following him closely was Zack ‘Asmongold‘ with more than 79 million watch hours even if he had less livestreams on Twitch.
Tyler ‘Trainwreckstv’ Niknam who has been largely critical of the platform’s policies, was able to claim the third position in the list of most watched Twitch streamers in US. He was surprised tov view the stats, as he was almost inactive on the platform for about 4 months. Tyler also took a moment to congratulate HasanAbi and Asmongold as he commented-
"congratulations to HasanAbi and Asmongold for top 1 and 2 - yall grinded "
On the flip side, he provided his gratitude towards his community for providing the same kind of support, they have been showing since the beginning of his streaming career. He stated, “being top 3 despite not streaming the last 3 months is a massive accomplishment”, and described how he loves his audience.

Fans term the moment as well deserving
HasanAbi’s fans were over the moon after watching their favorite streamer winning big as a Twitch streamer, claiming that he deserved to win this after so many hours of streaming. However, not everyone gave positive comments as one of the users wrote, that Asmon’s viewers are quite high if the watch hours are compared.
Streamers like xQc and HasanAbi have been ruling Twitch, as many of the internet personalities turned to YouTube. While HasanAbi bagged the first position in US, xQc was the top streamer in Canada.
