As the Russian invasion of Ukraine progresses differentiating between truth and lies becomes harder. xQc found out about this thanks to a mistake that HasanAbi made on his stream. Hasan has been talking about the political conflict on his Twitch streams ever since it started and he has consistently been anti-Putin. He even managed to raise a lot of money to support Ukraine using the game Elden ring, but it seems his views make him extremely susceptible to fake news as well.

What did Hasan Abi fall for?
Hasan has been scrolling through Twitter a lot recently trying to find some updates regarding the conflict that has shaken the modern world. There he found a recording of a plane being fired on by anti-aircraft guns. “Oh this one is f*cking insane” he said as he played the video and questioned its integrity. The chat then told him that the recording was from ARMA 3. “It’s ARMA? Oh god damn it!” he said as he began questioning himself.
ARMA 3 is a military simulation game that allows players to create their own scenarios and play them out in a realistic way. This isn’t the first time a video game has been used to create false media for the conflict. There was a similar incident concerning the infamous Ghost of Kyiv recently as well.

How did xQc react to this?
xQc was patiently watching the video as he wait for the moment Hasan realised something was wrong. He was enjoying the video as it showcased a cool moment and speak through the entirety of it. This silence was broken until the very end when xQc began to laugh after Hasan realised that the moment was actually from ARMA 3.
