“I’ve been here for so long”: Trainwreckstv is hesitant to leave Twitch but still is in talks with a few platforms
Which platform will Trainwreckstv choose?
Trainwreckstv who is known to be the most ardent critic of Twitch after Dr DisRespect still seems hesitant to move platforms but that doesn’t mean he has not been looking to make a leap and do the platform switch which has been anticipated by his fans for quite a long time.
Tyler ‘Trainwreckstv‘ Niknam recently uploaded a video which provided a subtle hint that the streamer is finally announcing his move to YouTube but that wasn’t mentioned in his video anywhere. Rather fans found him being nostalgic for Twitch,” Personally, I like, I don’t wanna leave Twitch, I don’t, you know I’ve been here for so long.”
Prior to that Tyler had already mentioned that he is in talks with a few platforms which will be informed to his audience eventually. Later on, he brought out the reasons for his disappointment on the purple platform as he claimed, “How many times do I have to sit here for the years that I’ve been here, right? Grinding my a** off and like how many times I’m let them gonna spit on my face?”.
Furthermore, he justified that he is not referring to the gambling stuff here, as many critics would have blamed him after this statement. Instead, Trainwreckstv is in discontent with the policies being made by the officials of the Amazon-owned platform.
Trainwreckstv accuses Twitch officials of playing politics
Trainwreckstv’s relationship with Twitch took a toll ever since the platform had banned gambling. Given that he was one of the biggest gambling streamers on Twitch who apparently made a whopping $360 million USD from slot category streams, he was in the forefront of being against Twitch’s decisions.
He has time and again explained that Twitch should have banned all categories of gambling but they didn’t as the ban was targeted towards him. If the gambling drama wasn’t enough, the streamer decided to call out the TwitchCon 2022 attendees of being ‘corrupt motherfu**kers’ for misbehaving with the staff at the venue.
Tyler has now claimed that the people in charge of Twitch are biased and are bringing politics in the workplace. Continuing further in his video, the streamer explained-
"I don't know who the fu*k is running this but what I will say is this, whoever is making these like policy decisions, policy changes, whatever the fu*k, I don't know whether you went to a business school or how the fu*k you got into the position you're in, but you need to leave your at-home politics at home."
He further went on to say that the concerned person here is bringing ‘personal bias into business’ as they cannot value a person who streams 30 hours to someone who streams 300 hours and is also bringing thrice the amount of viewership.
Fans can’t wait to see Trainwreckstv’s new platform
A week ago, Tyler Niknam announced that he has already started working on creating a new platform that will ‘revolutionize streaming’ as well as benefit the small-time streamers who are the backbone of the streaming industry and also deserve security. Fans are eagerly waiting for that platform to be announced as the streamer claimed it to bring it to the audience within November.
Others were of the opinion that they don’t like to watch the gambling streams anymore, however, they agreed on the points made against Twitch.
