Twitch streamer is nearly crushed as he captures people at Itaeown Halloween Festival that turned out to be a ‘death parade’

One IRL Twitch stream capturing people enjoying a Halloween festival turned out to be a massacre as the excessive crowd caused a stampede leading to the death of over 100 people and leaving thousands of them injured. The clip shared by a French streamer was heavily discussed in Reddit as such a tragic incident was unforeseen.
The French streamer known as ‘Pape San’ was live on Twitch to share the famous festival with his viewers but as time progressed, the streamer had little or no room left to even talk with his viewers. He could be seen getting nearly crushed due to the crowd with simultaneous cries of help from the background.
The disturbing video alerted everyone and was later taken down from Twitch. However, some users managed to share it on YouTube which shows people being terrified and screaming vehemently as they make space for themselves amongst the huge pool of people.

Several countries are ushering in the festival of Halloween by dressing up in spooky costumes or cosplaying their favorite internet personalities. But a festival which took place in Itaeown, Seoul after 3 years due to Covid-19 turned out to be more fatal as the large number of people coming out to observe the festival caused a huge stampede.
The stampede has left over 150+ people dead, as per the reports of several news channels. If the news wasn’t horrifying enough, several clips and pictures were shared in social media that has left the entire world in dismay. Twitch users were also able to view a short clip by Pape San that was enough to present the ongoing scenario at the Itaeown Halloween Festival.
Though the streamer hasn’t provided any update on himself after he shared the clip where he is nearly getting crushed by the crowd, viewers and his fans are hoping that he is doing well. The clip was uploaded in the subreddit ‘r/livestreamfails’ and has gained a lot of attention within the past few hours.

Redditors described their horror after viewing the Twitch clip where some people were of the opinion that the incident could have been averted, had there been a proper crowd management system by the authorities. Others were seen mourning the lives of the people who died in the stampede.
