“I could hear actual voices,” Valkyrae describes how she has experienced ‘scary’ hallucinations

YouTuber Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter recently celebrated her birthday while streaming with fellow content creators. She has been playing Valorant on a regular basis as well as watching crime documentaries and videos with her audience.
During one such livestream session, the streamer decided to open up about her own experience after she found a video on YouTube where the accused was describing some delusional visions he saw. After claiming that she is finding it quite interesting, Valkyrae told her viewers that she has experience audio hallucinations.
“I’ve experience audio hallucinations before and it’s scary”, she added. The YouTuber went on to say how horrific that experience was as whenever she became really tired, she was able to hear ‘actual voices’ in her head. “The sound of people speaking in my ears,” Valkyrae explained her viewers while watching the documentary.
She further made it clear that this is not a regular occurrence as she has experience these hallucinations for about four times. Nevertheless, fans were quite worried about the YouTuber as they expressed their shocking state at the chat section.
Valkyrae has experienced health issues previously
Streamers have now become quite open while speaking about their mental health or any other condition they are facing, which might hamper their streaming. Valkyrae is also one of them, as she provides constant updates on her health if she fails to turn up to her routine YouTube streaming.
When she returned from Coachella 2022, she took to Twitter to describe her terrible health condition that might restrict her from streaming for a few days. Rae also told that she understands that the reason for this condition goes to her only, as she lived a careless lifestyle.
Apart from this, she has also opened up about her mental health issues following the RFLCT controversy that left a deep impact on her mind. She also explained how she had to consult a therapist to come out of that situation, and thankfully, the streamer has been able to close a ‘bad chapter’ in her life.
Valkyrae’s fans have been quite supportive of her whenever she provides a health update, some of them also decided to stick with her during the RFLCT cosmetics scandal, as a major part of her viewer’s community went against her for selling cosmetics that do not have any proof of blocking the blue light.
