Valroant Episode 6 Act 3 is live and comes with some cool looking gun skin bundle and one of them is the new Bound skin collection/bundle. This new bundle features Bulldog, Classic, Judge, Melee, and Phantom skins. Apart from that, there are various sprays and game buddies that players can obtain once they complete the battle pass challenges or just simply buy them with Valorant points.
Contrary to Act 2 battle pass, which paid homage to the street style graffiti arts, the new Act 3 battle pass Bound skin bundle will focus more on mythology and its diversity. Moreover, Episode 6 Act 3 will see the return of reworked Bind map. Riot made several changes to the map including a complete rework of the teleportation gates. Additionally, player will have to say goodbye to Icebox as it will no longer be part of competitive map pool.

The new Bound skin bundle looks like a cross between Reaver and Oni

Every season Riot Games introduces attractive and creative skin bundles and cosmetics in the Valorant battle pass. The Episode 6 Act 3 is no exception with 3 different new skin bundles got added to Valorant this time around.
- The Bound skin bundle/collection.
- The Monstrocity skin collection.
- The Moondash skin bundle.
Among these 3 so far, the Bound skin is looks like a cool mix between Riots 2 top selling gun skins Oni and Reaver. Both of these bundles contain guns that look like straight out of the netherworld. The finishers of the bundle are like a cherry on top of a cake that makes them stand out from rest of the long list of gun skins. The new Bound skin bundle is something similar with ropes wrapping around the guns like Oni bundle and a bluish hue like the Reaver. It does catch the attention of a player. Some are even already labeling as one of the best battle pass skins that Riot added so far.
Apart from having similarities with Oni and Reaver you cannot exclude one glaring aspect of the Bound skin bundle that it reminds you of Omen. Now whether Riot did this one purpose or not as if they are hinting towards some sort of Omen rework in future it’s not clear. But if you are an Omen main then the phantom will blend in with the characters attire like the gun is an extension of itself. The only downside to the Bound skin bundle is that it won’t have any variants unlike the other two.
This what Valorant game producer Mingxi Zou said about the new skin bundles and Episode 6 Act 3 in general, “To conclude this act along with the launch of Gekko in the previous Episode we are thrilled to celebrate this moment by presenting our players a diverse and immersive world with a wide variety of creatures ranging from endearing to fearsome providing players with the opportunity to engage in moments of domination destruction and calculated chaos.”
The new Melee looks like something out of World of Warcraft

Valorant has long history of cool looking knife/melee skins. The new Episode 6 Act 3 is no exception. The battle pass skins usually don’t get too overboard with complex animation or theme music. On the contrary Riot likes to keep simple and yet eye catching that players will want to have in their inventory. The new melee weapon which part of the Bound skin bundle/collection seem to keep that tradition alive. This new knife reminds you of something the trolls or giants will wield in World of Warcraft.
Riot is no stranger to taking inspirations from other game worlds. Moreover, they have added various themed skin bundles like the Neptune bundle, Airplane bundle and so on so forth. If you take a closer look at some of these paid skin collections the melee weapon tends to be the most creative. In Neptune bundle players got an anchor as melee weapon. In Reaver there was hunting knife lit up with dark flames from hell. Similarly, the new Bound skin bundle melee looks like a T shaped sword wrapped around in blue ropes.
How much does the new battle pass cost?
Well, if you are new to Valorant then knowing how much the battle pass costs should be your first priority if you want to get hold of the new Bound skin bundle. In Episode 6 Act 3 similar to the previous one’s players have to spend 1000 valorant points to unlock the battle pass. As always, the battle pass contains paid and free cosmetics for players to equip. The new battle pass apart from the three aforementioned skin bundles contain:
- I’m Melting Spray
- Monstrocity Sheriff
- Monster Cookie Buddy
- Gizem Title
- Epilogue Drop the Hammer Buddy
- Nice! Spray
Finally, the other two skin bundles especially the Monstrocity seems to take inspiration from Gekko’s creatures. TO back it up, when you take a closer look at the skins you will see various engravings of monsters on the guns. Unlike the Bound skin bundle Monstrocity and Moondash have color variants to choose from. The variants will also be available once you unlock the battle pass. Moreover, there is also news of a new character that we could see pretty soon. Whether Riot ads it to the game this Act or the next it’s still not clear.
