Here are the leaked changes for Icebox in Valorant

Valorant Insider reveals possible changes coming to Icebox

Valorant is a 5v5 Hero Based action shooting game developed by Riot Games and released in 2020. The game was released as a direct competitor to other eSports titles but has managed to make its own place in the gaming space.

The game was initially released with only four maps and has since been updated to include five more. With so many maps in the game, there are also multiple different changes that each map goes through when it is put out of the playing pool. For example, Split was one such map that had been out of the map pool for some time and had later returned as a completely revamped map.

With Icebox currently out of the map pool for competition, it is almost certain that when the map makes a comeback to the game, it will have major changes for players to get used to again. These changes are highly anticipated to make it into a completely changed map.

Valorant is also no stranger to leaks when it comes to upcoming content in the game. There have been entire skin lines and agents that have leaked. As well as the battle pass. So, it should come as no surprise that the changes to Icebox have seemingly leaked in the form of an image of the minimap of how the new Icebox will look.

In the minimap, players and fans can figure out new structures that might get added to the map along with entirely new lanes which will pop into existence for players to make new plays around and keep their eyes on at the same time.

The leaked minimap image shows changes across the map, but the more impactful changes are being made to mid and the B site. Mid sees the addition of a few structures towards the side of the pipe, and the B site sees the addition of an entirely new lane from the defenders’ spawn.

These changes on the snowy map will surely change the agent comps that were usually played on Icebox. The verticality of the map forced players to bring in agents like Jett to their comps but at this point in time, with the addition of a few boxes placed strategically, any agents would be able to move around as much as they’d like.

The new changes to Icebox are sure to come, whether or not will they be these exact ones is still not confirmed but what IS sure is that the changes will shake up the meta on Icebox a lot as there are new elevations to conquer, and more angles to clear.
