GTA 6 Trailer Song and Soundtrack

The song that plays throughout the GTA 6 trailer is Love is a Long Road by Tom Petty. Tom Petty is a popular American singer, well-known for leading the band ‘Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’. Love is a Long Road was released on his debut solo album, Full Moon Fever, first released in 1989.

Tom Petty unfortunately passed away in late 2017. The artist had a history of working with Rockstar Studios, contributing the song “Runnin’ Down a Dream” to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Rockstar Games paid tribute to the great rockstar by using the first song from his debut album in the GTA 6 trailer.

Rumours were circulating the internet that Genesis – That’s All (Mandalus Remix) would be the song featured in the GTA 6 trailer. However, this was one of many leaks that were either false or changed at the last moment. So far, Love is a Long Road is the only official song on GTA 6’s soundtrack. There are rumours of other songs that could be featured but might turn out false, similar to the earlier rumour about That’s All.
