Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is currently one of the most sought-after drivers in Formula 1. He has amassed three world championships at the age of 26, showcasing his greatness on track.
Max Verstappen leads the driver’s championship by 62 points this year despite his recent run of poor performances. Many teams have been in pursuit of the Dutchman recently, with Aston Martin being among the notable ones.
Aston Martin team principal Mike Krack has praised Verstappen while speaking openly of his wish to sign him in the future. The Dutchman is currently contracted to Red Bull until 2028 but could move out sooner if he wishes to.

Mike Krack believes Aston Martin are no longer the underdogs after signing Adrian Newey
Adrian Newey signed a multi-million dollar deal with Aston Martin as their technical director from 2025. Newey’s signing lit up the faces of everyone associated with the Warwickshire-based team as he is considered to be one of the finest brains in the sport.

Mike Krack believes that following Adrian Newey‘s arrival, the Warwickshire-based team must be more confident in its capabilities rather than the hindrances. He added that the Englishman’s arrival will give everyone in the team a huge confidence boost.
This is not any more underdogs like it used to be in the past. It's a team that should be confident that it can do it. But then also you have a completely different approach with partners. And the same for race drivers. So I think it opens a lot of doors for the future.Mike Krack said via motorsport
Newey ushers a new dawn at Aston Martin, with the team eyeing a holistic development of a competitive car from the next season. His expertise could foresee a meteoric rise in the team’s performances in the future.
