Fred Vasseur’ take on Ferrari’s approach upon Charles Leclerc’s pole
Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur was delighted with Charles Leclerc’s performance on Saturday. The Maranello-based team now starts P1 and P3, eyeing their fourth win of the season at the Baku City Circuit.
But the important thing is not to think about the others but about ourselves. We have to work with the car we have available, we know that our pace is good and this means we have to do our job: start well, have a good rhythm and keep everything under control.Fred Vasseur said after qualifying at Baku

Fred Vasseur has called for his team to build a steady approach to the race to maximize their results during the race. He has urged Leclerc to maintain faith in the car and his team’s abilities while delivering his best efforts on track.
The Maranello-based team currently stands third in the constructors’ championship behind McLaren and Red Bull. A good result on Sunday can therefore see them move close to their rivals in the fiercely contested title race.
