Lewis Hamilton is all set to debut with Ferrari in the 2025 season. The Italian constructor is banking on the seven-time world champion to take them back to its glory days. Amidst the preparations for the 2025 season, the team revealed the date of Hamilton’s first visit to the factory in Maranello.
Ferrari has already planned an ‘elastic’ testing schedule for Lewis Hamilton in order to test the chassis under ideal conditions. While Hamilton is officially a Ferrari driver, he will have to wait until the completion of chassis development before he can sit in the car. Regardless, the 40-year-old will visit Maranello in order to help with the setup of the chassis and simulator work.
Ferrari’s CEO, Benedetto Vigna revealed that Hamilton’s visit to Maranello was scheduled as early as the last week of January. Vigna highlighted that there was a lot of excitement ahead of the Briton’s entry. Moreover, the CEO was confident that the factory was ready with ‘almost everything’.
Ferrari confirms ‘strong values to inclusion’ ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s entry
Lewis Hamilton had previously highlighted the lack of inclusivity at Ferrari and how it needed to improve. Due to this, Benedetto Vigna reassured that the company had always given priority to inclusion, way before Hamilton’s entry. Hence, Vigna reckoned the inclusivity would only improve following the Briton’s entry.
Ferrari’s recent upturning performance is a highly motivating factor for Hamilton. Certainly, the Briton is set to bring amazing things to the Italian constructor following his entry. Hence, the 2025 season would be highly interesting and exciting for the Tifosi.
