After the announcement of Lewis Hamilton leaving Mercedes, the British driver is set to pair up with Charles Leclerc at Ferrari. Both the drivers drive exceptionally well and have their own skills and abilities on track. Leclerc revealed that he and Hamilton casually talks, since the Briton will be his partner for the 2025 season.

Charles Leclerc in an interview mentioned he and Lewis Hamilton communicate regularly and have friendly conversations. He clarified that they don’t talk about the team’s internal matters they both are going to be teammates next season. He stated their topics revolve around general discussion about races, tracks and maybe personal life. This highlighted that they like to keep professional matters separate from their friendship.

Further, Leclerc added that currently he’s fully focused on the current season with Ferrari. The 26-year-old mentioned that he wants to fully commit and give his full attention to the challenges ahead. He also mentioned thinking about the future seasons beyond the current one, because he has long-term plans with the team.
