The Formula 1 drivers have had an extended autumn break since the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix. Following this, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has made it known that he is ready to get the ball rolling from the United States GP onwards.

The Circuit of the Americas event is slated to take place this week. After this, two more high-octane weekends (Mexico and Brazil) are heading the way of the drivers and the fans in the famous F1 triple-header weekends.

Leclerc has been on an impressive run of form since the start of the second half of the 2024 F1 season. Moreover, he was able to amass a shock victory at Ferrari’s home turf at the Italian Grand Prix quite recently.

Charles Leclerc not ruling out Red Bull in 2024 F1 season

While Charles Leclerc is raring to go from COTA onwards, he has admitted that he is not ruling out Red Bull from the fight at the north end of the grid. The Max Verstappen-led team has not won a single race since the Spanish GP.

As things stand, the RB20 is the third fastest car with Mercedes’ W15 not too far behind.

I’ve never ruled [Red Bull] out, and I’m sure they will be strong until the end of the season.

The Woking-based Mclaren is leading the constructors’ tussle and is currently sitting handsomely on 516 points. Red Bull has put on board 475 whereas the Maranello-based Ferrari has managed to amass 441.

Keeping this in view, the race for the championship could get very feisty if the papaya slips up in any way in the remaining six races. The odds are stacked against Ferrari and Red Bull but things could change drastically from COTA onwards.
