Carlos Sainz, the three-time Grand Prix winner, has got the world in utter shock since announcing his Williams signing. The world has come forward to react to it and while people have come up with mixed opinions amidst the Audi option, Sainz’s current teammate Charles Leclerc has wished him the best of luck.
Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc have been making their trade as Ferrari teammates since 2021. During this time, the duo has shared several special on-track moments. Thus, in light of this, the latter has taken Sainz’s Williams signing as the perfect opportunity to wish him the best and also to have a few more memorable moments during the ongoing campaign.

The Monegasque has wholeheartedly congratulated Sainz’ on finally signing a contract extension with the Williams F1 team. Moreover, as things stand, Ferrari is in a tight fight for the Constructors Championship, and if Leclerc and Sainz’ can achieve this, it will be the perfect adieu for the Spaniard at the end of the 2024 season.
James Vowles deems Carlos Sainz as an ‘incredible fit’ at Williams
While Leclerc is really looking forward to having a strong second half of the ongoing campaign with Sainz, the latter’s 2025 employers have deemed him the perfect fit for them. James Vowles genuinely feels the Spaniard will take the Grove-based outfit to new heights.

Carlos Sainz has time and again proven his mettle at the pinnacle of motor racing. He is having a solid campaign with Ferrari again and considering this, it will be fascinating to see how he would perform in the second half of the season now that he has got the contract burden of his shoulders.
