Stefano Domenicali has called for a clear but fair partnership between Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc in the team. He stated that Hamilton’s chase for his eighth title might hinder Leclerc’s development as a driver in Formula 1.

As a Ferrari enthusiast, it’s an extraordinary opportunity because Lewis [wants to centralise things]. He wants to bring home his eighth title and become the best ever. With Charles there will have to be respect but it is clear that when you lower the visor… In any case, the team and management rules must be clear.

Stefano Domenicali told Gazetta Dello Sport

The Maranello-based team is now hoping to end its long-awaited search for a title with the arrival of the seven-time world champion. With proper strategies and correct execution, an era of dominance might dawn for the Reds in the coming years.
