The Olympics? It would be good if there were motorsport. It's a great pride to represent such a small country like mine. In the end, there are 10,000 of us true Monegasques.

Charles Leclerc would support Italy during the UEFA Euro 2024

A majority of the Formula 1 drivers watch and love different sports apart from F1. Multiple drivers are often spotted at football events, showcasing support for their national team. However, since Monaco doesn’t have its own team to partake in the Euros 2024, Charles Leclerc found himself in a conundrum.

Charles Leclerc had to choose between Italy and France to support in the Euros. Leclerc’s closest nation, France was one of the better options. However, the Monegasque’s career with Ferrari in F1 meant that the Italian nation wasn’t less either. Hence, upon this, the 26-year-old claimed that although he wasn’t a big football fan, he was more towards supporting Italy.

Good question… i’m not a big football fan, i watch finals especially, but right now i would say i’m more on Italy.
Charles Leclerc told lastampa.it.

As a result, multiple drivers and fans will be following the coveted Euros to witness how the event pans out. Leclerc will also watch the sport alongside other football fans on the grid, like Pierre Gasly, Max Verstappen, etc. Apart from this, the Monegasque will also focus on performing well during the 2024 season for Ferrari.
