Charles Leclerc reveals his love for instrumental music

Charles Leclerc’s songs are purely piano instrumental with no lyrics or verses. Leclerc’s deep love for calming instrumental music was the reason behind such song releases. The 27-year-old insisted that such music gave him a lot of energy before racing on the grid.

I like instrumental motivational music, that gives me a lot of energy before getting into the car.

Charles Leclerc noted.

Leclerc asserted that during very intense races such as the Monaco GP, he preferred to listen to even more calming songs. The Monegasque believed that such tunes helped him release the tension before heading out on track. The 27-year-old had a particular liking for instrumental and motivational music in general.

But if I am too tense, which doesn’t happen very often, but it did on a few occasions – like Monaco, maybe before the start this year, there it’s more calming music, and it’s very, very calm, just to release the tension a little bit, but otherwise instrumental, motivational music.

Charles Leclerc added

Lewis Hamilton, Daniel Ricciardo, and many others are often spotted listening to music before racing. The drivers feel at ease after listening to songs as it helps them focus better during racing. Leclerc himself is likely to listen to his own compositions as pre-race motivation and to further fuel his passion for creating more piano melodies.
