The seven-time-world champion Lewis Hamilton will be arriving at the prancing horse Ferrari at the start of 2025. With the hope of competition not being tough at Ferrari, Hamilton would still have to fight teammate Charles Leclerc. Leclerc, despite being happy with the Britons arrival, claims to show no mercy while competing on track.

Charles Leclerc in an interview expressed his excitement about Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari next season. He mentioned that it’s going to be exciting working alongside a fantastic driver like Hamilton who has achieved so much in his career. He highlighted he is looking forward to driving the same car alongside the Briton. Leclerc eagerly anticipated seeing Hamilton’s impressive driving skills showcased in his new red car.

Therefore, the 26-year-old is eagerly anticipating the experience and believes it will be a great chance for both learning and showcasing his talent.

Charles Leclerc shared that while growing up he spent most of his weekend racing go-karts. This made it hard for him to follow the Formula 1 season closely. Despite this, he managed to watch some races and admired Lewis Hamilton among the top drivers he saw.

The 26-year-old during his karting days felt amazed and intimidated by the impressive skills of the drivers in F1. The Monàgasque consider Hamilton as the best amongst them due to his remarkable career achievements and success in the sport.

Growing up on karting tracks every weekend, I found it difficult to follow a Formula 1 season so I used to watch some races and he was definitely one of the guys I looked up to. I remember being so impressed and intimidated by all these amazing drivers – and Lewis is probably the best.

Certainly, Charles Leclerc admired Lewis Hamilton the most during his youth, as Hamilton was the best driver at that time. Now, as they team up for the 2025 season, Leclerc feels grateful to race alongside his childhood hero.
