Red Bull Racing must perform in 2025. After losing the constructors’ title last year, Milton Keynes must reclaim its spot at the front of the grid. Now, team boss Christian Horner has signaled that things went according to plan for his squad in Bahrain.
Max Verstappen and Red Bull have given mixed responses over preseason testing. The Dutch driver emphasized that everything was under control with the RB21. However, he later claimed that Milton Keynes will not be the fastest team this season.
Nevertheless, Christian Horner revealed that Red Bull managed to stick to its planned program despite facing a couple of setbacks over the course of testing. Moreover, Horner claimed that the on-track data matched its simulating runs back at Milton Keynes, hinting that all was in order at the Austrian team.
We’re running [adhered] to a program, and the data ties in with our simulation tools.

RB21 ‘easier to drive’ than its predecessor
The Red Bull RB20 was a challenging car to drive due to its severe balance issues. Christian Horner previously claimed that the team worked hard to fix those vices with the RB21. Now, after the test, Horner revealed that both Verstappen and Liam Lawson found the new Red Bull chassis to be much easier to drive.

So both drivers immediately reporting that the car is easier to drive. They can feel it more, and it’s not on such an edge.
Christian Horner noted
It seems that Red Bull might have a better car this season. However, the Austrian team can’t make any predictions due to uncertainty over the position of its rivals. Thus, fans will need to wait till the first race of the season to truly understand whether Max Verstappen will be able to bag a fifth title in a row.
