Christian Horner breaks silence on Jos Verstappen’s claims of trying to stop him from RB8 run at Red Bull Ring
Christian Horner made it clear that he never had issues with any Red Bull drivers' father's in the past.

During a media interaction, Jos Verstappen accused Christian Horner of trying to stop him from participating in legends parade. The Dutchman also accused Horner of stopping people from taking photos and video footage of it. Now the Red Bull team boss has shot back at the ex-F1 driver.
Christian Horner was asked about this incident, he explained that he had been informed about the situation involving the Legends Parade. Horner clarified that the parade was organized by the circuit, not by him. The 50-year-old mentioned that there was no veto or opposition from his side regarding Jos Verstappen‘s participation. He reassured everyone that the Legends would still be performing later. Horner clarified he had no role in any decisions preventing Jos Verstappen or others from participating in the Legends Parade event.

He highlighted that the 26-year-old is a key part of their team and is very important to them. Horner said his relationship with Max Verstappen is crucial because he’s their driver not Jos Verstappen. The 50-year-old highlighted the importance of maintaining a strong relationship with their driver for the team’s performance and harmony.
Well, the relationship with Max has always been very good, very strong. And he’s a key part of our team. And he’s our driver. He’s the one that is important, obviously, to have a strong relationship with.
