Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen are great friends on and off the grid. There are some fans in the community that wants them to be teammates. However, seeing the two in the same team is highly unlikely due to Leclerc’s close ties with Ferrari. Regardless, amidst the preparations for the 2025 season, Christian Horner joked about signing the Monegasque due to the former’s daughter’s wishes.

Christian Horner had previously commented about young girls being interested in Formula 1 due to good-looking drivers. The Englishman was then accused of sexism and subjected to a lot of backlash. At the Autosport Awards event, Horner was questioned by TikToker Bella James about his thoughts regarding his comments back in 2022.

Speaking upon his previous comments, Horner laughed and explained that his daughter would love to sign Charles Leclerc. The 51-year-old further noted that each driver had their own charm and appealed to different fans. Moreover, the Briton also shared his opinion on people being interested in the sport due to good-looking team principals.
