Horner highlighted that Ricciardo’s positive traits would leave a lasting impact on Red Bull and the entire Formula 1 community. The Australian’s constant enthusiasm, sense of humor made him a beloved figure within the team.

Horner thanked Ricciardo for the wins they achieved together and for the joy he brought and songs they shared. He also mentioned the iconic shoey celebration would be missed after his departure.

Your constant enthusiasm, sense of humor and attitude will leave an indelible legacy on the Team here in Milton Keynes and F1 as a whole. Thank you for the wins, smiles, songs (and I wish I could say the shoeys), you will always be a special part of the Red Bull Family.

Christian Horner stated.

Daniel Ricciardo’s F1 statistics doesn’t define who he is as a person

Daniel Ricciardo’s eight wins, 32 podiums and 1329 points earned are remarkable but it didn’t fully reflect what he was or he had achieved. According to Horner, the Honey Badger’s contribution extends beyond these numbers. This highlighted his character and dedication and the positive impact he had on the Red Bull family. Ultimately, the 50-year-old expressed gratitude for everything Ricciardo brought to the team during his time there.

8 wins, 32 podiums, 1329 points. These statistics and accolades are not the only measure of who you are and what you have achieved. Thank you Daniel.

Christian Horner expressed.

The remainder of the 2024 season will be raced by reserve driver Liam Lawson for RB. With six rounds left, the upcoming race in Austin presents a significant challenge for Red Bull. They trail McLaren by 41 points, so the Milton Keynes team must work effectively during the ongoing one-month break to regain their competitive edge.
