Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has called for his team to make solid efforts in order to secure both championships this year. The Milton-Keynes-based team has looked far from dominant despite leading the title race.
Red Bull appeared dominant in the first seven races of this campaign and many deemed them the favorites for this season as well. However, an impressive upsurge in the performances from rivals has greatly stricken the chances of the outfit.
After the FP2 session at the ongoing Dutch GP weekend, Christian Horner was asked whether Red Bull would be able to defend both titles. His conversation with the F1 pundit went like this:
Naomi Schiff: Do you guys have the confidence that you can hold on to both the drivers and even the team's constructors' titles? Christian Horner: Well, look, 10 races is still a chunk of points, but you know, we've won out of the first, what, 14, and we've won seven of them. We've qualified first at nine of them. We've won two sprint races, so the competition has concertinaed, and we're going to need both cars firing on all cylinders. So, this weekend's important, as they all are in the run-in to the end of the championship.Christian Horner said after the Dutch GP FP2 session

The upcoming race at Zandvoort has been one of the most successful venues for Red Bull since 2021. They will now hope to build on their past triumphs, eyeing an impressive showing in the upcoming Dutch GP qualifying session and the main race on Sunday.
Max Verstappen’s take on Red Bull’s FP1 and FP2 performance at Dutch GP
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen appeared dissatisfied with the RB20’s performance on Friday. Verstappen finished Free Practice 1 in P2 but was a few tenths slower in FP2, in which he charted a time good enough for P5.
We didn’t quite have the pace on the long and short runs and at the moment there isn’t a clear answer on how to improve this, but we will look into things.Max Verstappen said after FP2 at the Dutch GP

Max Verstappen claimed that the RB20 was not up to par as compared to McLaren and Mercedes on Friday. Verstappen also outlined the need for concern, stating that the Milton-Keynes-based team does not have a potent solution to its issues.
The three-time world champion has been winless since the Spanish GP this year. He will therefore make his best efforts to secure the victory in front of home fans, as he has done over the last three years.
